You are therefore encouraged to read the terms carefully so that you know your rights and obligations before you buy any products from us.
For every purchase we ask you to accept the terms of trade conditions.
When you shop with us, all transactions are subject to Danish law.
Therefore all disagreements will be settled by The Courts of Denmark.

Order and Payment
The webshop is open 24/7, so you can always shop with us. However, certain parts of the site will periodically be unavailable due to maintenance.
To shop on yellowbirdcoffee.dk you must be at least 18 years old or have the legal right to enter into a purchase, for example in the form of acceptance from your guardian.
Prices
All prices are inclusive of 25 % Danish VAT and in the selected currency if ordering within the EU. Outside of the EU prices are exclusive of Danish VAT. Prices at time of booking apply. Freight and delivery costs are included unless stated otherwise.
We reserve the right to make errors in entering prices or discount rates and cancel orders because of these mistakes.

- Enter your personal data and choose where you want the package delivered.
- Choose shipping method.
- Choose payment method.
- Pay the order.
- We will send an order confirmation to you by email.
Receipt or order and order confirmation
When you order an item, you will receive an order confirmation by e-mail and when your order has been shipped, you will receive an invoice. Orders are normally processed within 2 working days, your card will be charged after we have shipped your items.

You can also choose to pay with MobilePay. MobilePay is a solution for payment via your smartphone. If you would like to take advantage of MobilePay, you must install the application on your phone, and link a debit card to it. Be aware that there may be a fee associated with using MobilePay, depending on which payment you choose to use.
When you choose to pay by MobilePay, you will be redirected to a page where you are prompted to enter your phone number. Then you authorize the payment on your phone and the rest will run automatically. It’s never been easier to shop online!
Are you unsure about the terms of use of MobilePay? Find the terms here (in Danish). The amount will only be deducted when the order has been dispatched.
Delivery
We offer free shipping in Denmark on all orders above 500 DKK with our standard delivery (except Faroe Islands and Greenland). We use GLS or DAO for most shipments, however espresso machines from Rocket Espresso are often shipped more safely with carrier.
GLS delivery takes place in the daytime or delivery and pickup at the GLS package shop.
Stock items will normally be shipped within 2 business days, and you will receive you order within 3-5 business days.
Orders can also be picked up within opening hours at Yellow Bird Coffee, Amager Strandvej 108, 2300 Copenhagen S, Denmark.
Cancellation
When you shop at yellowbirdcoffee.dk you have 14 days to cancel your purchase from the day you receive the goods.
Though you are not entitled to cancel a coffee order as this is a fresh food product that cannot be resold upon a return.
The cancellation period will expire 14 days after the day you;
- Received your product
- Get the last goods in physical possession when it comes to an agreement on several items that have been ordered in one order and delivered separately.
- Get the last lot or the last part in physical possession, when it comes to an agreement on the delivery of a good consisting of multiple lots or pieces.
If you regret your purchase you must, within 14 days of receipt, notify us that you want to cancel your purchase. The notification shall be given by contacting us at info@yellowbirdcoffee.dk. In your message you need to make us clearly aware of the fact that that you want to use your right of cancellation. You can also choose to use our standard withdrawal form and send together with the item. You can find it here.
You can not cancel your purchase by simply rejecting the goods without clearly letting us know that you would like to cancel your purchase.

If you have purchased multiple items from us, you have the opportunity to send one or more items back, even if they are purchased in one order.
Note that you can only get a proportionate share of your delivery costs back, corresponding to the balance between the number of items you send back, and the number you keep.

You must send your order back to us without any undue delay and within 14 days after you have notified us that you wish to cancel your purchase. You must bear the direct cost of returning the goods. When returning an item you are responsible for packing the goods safely. You bear the risk from the time of delivery of the goods.
Business Customer
For business customers there are no right of cancellation unless otherwise agreed in writing. Private enterprises, government agencies, associations, foundations and private institutions etc. are considered business customers.

You shall only be liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and the way it works. In other words, you can inspect the item in the same way as if you examined it in a physical store. If the product is examined and tested beyond what is outlined above, we consider it as used, which means that when you cancel your purchase only get part or none of the purchase amount back, depending on the product’s commercial value. In order to receive back the entire purchase amount you must therefore do the same as you can in a physical store. You must inspect the item, but do not take it in actual use.

If you use your right of cancellation, we will refund all payments received from you, including delivery costs (excluding additional costs as a result of your own choice of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any case within 14 days from the date we receive notice of your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the return product, unless you have supplied evidence of returning the item.

Guarantee and Warranty
When you shop at yellowbirdcoffee.dk you have 24 months warranty under the Danish Sale of Goods Act. Our warranty applies to defects in material and / or workmanship.
When there are defects in a product you can either get it repaired or replaced, refund or reduction in price, depending on the specific situation.
It is a requirement that the complaint is justified and that the defect is not caused by incorrect use of the product or other injurious behavior. It is therefore necessary that you follow the enclosed instructions, washing instructions and other instructions that guide the proper use and maintenance of the product. Non-respect of a product in relation to the prescription, will be construed as misuse or other inappropriate behavior, and therefore the product will not be covered by the warranty.

You must complain within “reasonable time” after you have discovered the defect. If you complain within two months after the defect is discovered, the complaint will always be timely.

Coffee subscriptions are shipped once every month the following Monday, after the 15th. Payment is processed the day of the shipment at the earliest. We will ship your order if your payment has been successfully approved.
You can always login to your account and make changes to your subscription. You can update your shipping schedule, address and billing info, payment information and cancel your subscription before the 15th for immediate cancellation..
Your coffee subscription will continue until we receive your cancelation. You can cancel your subscription from your customer account, and only here. It is your sole responsibility to cancel your subscription. You will receive a cancelation confirmation via email.
International coffee subscriptions will be sent with GLS. Danish shipments will be sent as packages with your choosen shipping method.
