The Comandante has a stainless steel body wrapped in a thin wood veneer, high-nitrogen steel burrs which is a result of dedicated research and development. It has an oak wood handle and stainless steel bearings, crank and axle. The Comandante has a weight of 740 grams. Its hopper and glass jar can hold about 40-45 g of coffee. The transparent lid and bean/ grounds jar shows what is left and what has been ground. Comandante has stepped grind adjustment which allows the user to replicate the exact same setting over and over. Are able to grind for fine espresso or Turkish to coarser filter grinds.
If you intend to use the grinder for fine grinds such as espresso, we can recommend upgrading with a Red Clix.
